Tuan

Tuan Nguyen has been designing and developing websites for over 8 years. He has been recognised for his exceptional visual and concept problem solving skills. He brings a high-level of design sensibility with the ability to produce and direct a variety of creative on-target solutions to any given problem. From interactive media to traditional graphic design Tuan can bring the innovation and expertise needed for successful visual communications.

Michael

Michael Hawkes, has over 12 years experience in digital communications. He has extensive experience in managing large complex web projects, specialising in web usability and information architecture. He has been instrumental in driving integrated digital strategies for many major organisations, including Charles Darwin University, Darwin City Council, NT Government and Northern Territory General Practice & Education.

As an industry leader, Michael is regularly invited to be on "Think Tanks" for both the private sector and government. As a creative thinker he thrives on providing customers with unique innovative solutions.

Michael's focus is to work with our clients to develop digital communications that are both integrated and world class.

Karen

Karen Hawkes has 8 years experience in project managing multimedia and education projects. Karen is Captovate’s Studio Manager, supporting clients to identify their needs, coordinating information flow and managing the projects milestones and deadlines to ensure the project’s completion is stress-free and within designated timelines.

Her career commenced at Charles Darwin University as a multimedia project manager developing student resource DVD’s and support resources. This led to the role of Project Manager of the Commonwealth funded National Accelerated Literacy Program. Karen has a post graduate degree in IT Project Management and an undergraduate degree in Anthropology.

Emma

Emma Blake brings over ten years experience in multimedia design both here and overseas to her role in the Captovate team. She is creative and innovative, with a particular interest in visual aspects of communication, illustration and interactivity. Emma prides herself in working closely with clients to establish their needs, develop concepts and take design projects through to completion.

Richard

Richard Cordova has over four years experience working as a software engineer in commercial environments. This experience includes web-based, desktop and mobile application development. Richard’s primary focus at Captovate is the development of cool AJAX based interactivity within funky web pages. Richard enjoys learning new technologies and solving problems, as well as delivering products that exceed customers' expectations.

Heather

Heather Sweeting has a marketing and communications background and has experience in web communications, public relations and brand management. She brings to Captovate a keen eye for detail and extraordinary wordsmith skills. Heather's perfectionist approach to the written word means each customer always gets her best work.

Mick

Mick Elligett is a trade-qualified compositor with over 25 years experience in the printing and graphic arts industry. He has extensive experience in a variety of graphic work covering anything from business cards, brochures, newspaper and magazine production through to website design and development. Mick specialises in information design and development of open source content management systems.

Mark

Mark Bradbury is our systems administrator and web applications guru. He is a RedHat Certified Systems Engineer and brings to Captovate a wealth of experience in the implementation of content management systems and online applications. Mark is an advocate of “Open Source” systems and enjoys demonstrating to clients the efficiencies and flexibility of open source solutions.
